Activities
Activities of MREN are focused on a few basic areas:
- The management of the National Research &Educational Network
- The planning, design and implementation of technological and developmental projects with emphasis in Research Networking and Grid areas
- The representation of Montenegro in the field of European and World-wide research networks
- The promotion of e-business technologies and practices.
Its mission is the provision of high-quality international and national networking services to the Academic &Research institutions in Montenegro and to support Research and Educational activities of the public and private sector.
In addition, MREN promotes and disseminates the use of ICT in the public and private sector towards a knowledge-based Information Society (e-Government, e-Learning and e-Business).
Through the new link Montenegro makes crucial step forward on its way to the family of the European countries.
